WHEREAS, generative AI tools and algorithm-driven platforms now shape how Filipino youth learn, work, and form civic opinions;

WHEREAS, the absence of structured AI literacy leaves students vulnerable to misinformation, scams, and exploitative platform design;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that this body urges the Department of Education, in coordination with the DICT and NYC, to:

• Develop a Senior High School module covering AI literacy, prompt evaluation, source verification, and digital safety;
• Train at least one teacher per public SHS as a digital safety focal person within two academic years;
• Make the module openly licensed and translated into major regional languages.
